Since treatment is non-invasive and conducted on an outpatient basis, patients undergoing Proton/Conventional Therapy are able to continue their daily activities without interruption.

Three hotels have worked with us to create the best possible experience for our patients and visitors. Each is within three miles of Florida Proton, is on the St. John's River, and near fine restaurants and entertainment. Remember that Downtown Jacksonville, with its Florida Theatre, Performing Arts Center, Ritz Theater, Landing, Riverwalk, MOCA/Jax, Main Library, sports facilities, has a lot to enjoy, all the time.     Located just a couple miles from Proton and especially kept for our patients, this former B&B mansion has been beautifully preserved and maintained since 1904. Over looking scenic Klutho Park, it has four different sized rooms for our patients ( 2 large, 1 medium, 1 small), each with their own refrigerator, internet, and bathroom. Patients share the commons areas: kitchen, laundry room, living room, front & back porches. You may to relax by soaking in the Jacuzzi spa or gliding down the gorgeous streets on bicycles, both for patients. Semper Fi.

    FYI: Patients can stay here for their 3-day work ups, as well for the duration of treatment (more info about that in the 'Housing' section). If your staying for the 3-day workup, Paul & Lena will come pick you up from the airport when you arrive and make you breakfast each morning you're here. You'll get the full B&B treatment!
